STRIVE STAFFING BELIEVES OPPORTUNITY SHOULD BE INCLUSIVE
Post-incarceration unemployment rates remain a significant challenge for individuals reentering society after serving their sentences. According to a report published by the Prison Policy Initiative, formerly incarcerated individuals face an unemployment rate of over 27%, which is higher than the overall U.S. unemployment rate. These statistics highlight the barriers and stigma that often prevent individuals with criminal records from securing stable employment. The reintegration process can be particularly challenging, as formerly incarcerated individuals face limited job opportunities, biased hiring practices, and a lack of support systems. This underscores the importance of organizations like Strive Staffing, which are dedicated to providing second chance employment opportunities and breaking the cycle of recidivism. By addressing the unique needs and challenges of this population, we strive to create a more inclusive workforce and give individuals a chance to rebuild their lives.
